About our Beaded Bracelets

Specially trained highly skilled artisans hand bead these bracelets in Kenya.  They sew glass beads onto real robust leather, which is then lined with softer goat leather. The bracelets were once micro size dog collars which have now been transformed into bracelets with three brass popper fastenings to adjust the size.

Malulu’s products are all handmade in a quirky workshop on the Kenyan coast. We handpicked this workshop for their fair trade practices and their excellent standard of quality products.  Each artisan is specially trained by the workshop.  As a result, the workshop maintains sustainable local employment, good working conditions and consistently high production standards.

Our bracelets have three different size options, making them suitable for men and women and children.  The dimensions are approximately:

  • 14cm (5.5″) small

  • 16.5cm (6.5″) medium

  • 20cm (8″) large

Please note that these are all handmade and there made be slight differences between each hand beaded bracelet.  Any queries, please do contact us for more information.
